Before Flyboy deployed, he had two jobs at Fort Rucker- SIP ( Standardization Instructor Pilot ) for the MI-17, and he was helping out the air ambulance detachment, 'Flatiron', flying the UH-72 Lakota helicopter. Although he loved flying for Flatirons, it took him away from us on the weekends often. If we wanted to see him, we would have to bring him lunch after church on Sundays. The boys, of course, loved it!

WOW! I can see why the boys would love a chance to hang with Daddy at this job!!! Definitely not your typical 'office' to say the least! Of course, they've never known any difference =)
